History

The journey of Vipul Group commenced in 1968 under the visionary leadership of Shri Baburam Balmukundji, who ventured into textile trading. Expanding its reach, Vipul Group extended its trading operations to Mumbai in 1973, under the banner of Vipul Fashions. A significant milestone was achieved in 1976 when Vipul pioneered the introduction of Polyester in the Indian markets, followed by establishing a foothold in Surat, the textile capital of the nation. From introducing the trend of Computer Suits and Sarees to being the first textile brand to collaborate and shoot with renowned actresses like Raveena Tandon, Renuka Sahne, and more, the company has always been a trendsetter. In 2014, Vipul unveiled revolutionary innovations like Dupont Sorona Georgette and Crepe, solidifying its position as a frontrunner in the textile industry.
